City of Goldsboro Strategic Plan Available Online
The City of Goldsboro’s Strategic Plan is now available online at https://www.goldsboronc.gov/public-affairs-department/strategic-plan/. It is an organizational plan to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of City government services for our residents and visitors.
The plan focuses on the five goals established by City Council — Safe and Secure Community; Strong and Diverse Economy; Exceptional Quality of Life; Racial and Cultural Harmony; and Model for Excellence in Government – and defines the associated measures and targets developed by staff to accomplish the goals and become the standard for public service in North Carolina.
The online dashboard provides transparency of how the City fares on each measure, specifying whether efforts are on target, close to target or need improvement.
If you have questions or comments regarding the plan, please contact the Assistant to the City Manager/Strategic Plan Coordinator, Octavius Murphy at omurphy@goldsboronc.gov.
